I provided web design, search engine optimization, online marketing, and pay-per-click management for Carolina Knife Company between August 2005 and May 2009. During my time with Carolina Knife Company I also setup and managed a pay-per-click advertising campaigns on Google AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing with over 1500 total keywords targeted.
Search Engine Rankings (SEO)
This project began in the summer of 2005 with intensive keyword research and results tracking on over 200 keywords targeted by primary site content and over 1500 keywords targeted in Google AdWords advertising. Both website redesigns (2005 and 2007) were very successful in their goals of improving search engine ranking and organic search traffic.
Search Engine Optimization Metrics
Currently the website gets nearly 2000 free visitors each month from Google’s organic search results. Top performing keywords include: slitter blades, industrial blade, circular blades. During the month of January, 2010, Carolina Knife’s website received 1917 free visitors from Google on a total of 1078 different keyword searches.
